Zinc carnosine complex has been shown to help protect the stomach lining and promote gastrointestinal comfort. Studies show zinc carnosine promotes healthy mucus secretion, exerts antioxidant properties, and inhibits cytokine expression, thus helping protect the stomach and small intestine from injury.
